In this chapter of The Outer Limits, Jeff plays Harry, a hypochondriac who storms into his doctor's office one day with real symptoms. He has burst a blood vessel in his left eye, his blood won't clot, and his chest and arms are covered with sores. The doctor runs tests, but can't find anything that indicates a virus. When others start contracting the strange disease, Harry confesses that he had been reading a science fiction book about people fighting the very same disease in space. Unfortunately, they don't find a cure in the book. The doctor concludes that Harry has made the virus real with the power of his mind, so she must make him believe in a cure before it's too late and they all die. This has been Jeffrey's first appearance on The Outer Limits. |
