Jeffrey's other recurring role on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is that of the Ferengi Liquidator Brunt, who is always hassling Quark, and who tried to close his bar once or twice. Combs is the first and only actor to play two steady roles on a Star Trek series. I'd love to see him as both characters in the same episode!

In one of my favorite Combs episodes, Profit and Lace, Brunt is the acting Grand Nagus of the Ferengi Alliance. Zek has fallen from power, and Brunt plans to keep him, and Quark, under his shoe. Jeff makes a humorous, and (can you believe it?) tall, Ferengi.
