On Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, the Dominion, allied with the Cardassian Empire, wages war on the Federation and its allies. Within the Dominion, the Founders are shapeshifters who genetically engineer their minions: the Vorta and the Jem H'adar. Weyoun is a Vorta, who rules the Dominion/ Cardassian alliance with Damar, whom he has made his puppet. To him, as to all Vorta, the Founders are gods. Weyoun is the first Combs character I ever encountered, and he is definitely my favorite. I am a huge Star Trek fan, and I have been all my life. I was so impressed with Combs' work as Weyoun (and also as the Ferengi Brunt on Deep Space Nine) that I began this page. I hope you too will venture into the Star Trek universe. |
